Abstract

The problem in this study is that certain methods have not been used to determine the minimum and maximum inventory limits of spare parts. The purpose of this study is to determine the minimum and maximum inventory limits of spare parts. The calculation results show that the Minimum Maximum Stock Level method can provide information about the minimum and maximum inventory limits of Mitsubishi LVEH spare parts.  For example, that LVEH100477, has a safety stock of 1 item, a minimum inventory of 3 items, a maximum inventory of 5 items, an order quantity of 4 items, and an order frequency of 4 items. This study shows that the cost reduction obtained based on the determination of maximum inventory is $ 3,416.39, or about 11.26% of the total maximum warehouse cost before the study.
