Abstrak

The OES compound sieving process is a process at Plant C which aims to sift the OES compound so that the talc attached to the OES compound is separated. This OES compound comes from the process of cutting both ends of the green tube in the splicing process. Talc that is not separated from the OES compound can be foreign material (FM). In the OES compound sieving process, it is still done manually by the workers completely. So that it can cause fatigue in workers which can eventually lead to a decrease in productivity. This study aims to analyze the OES compound sieving process manually and the OES compound sieving process using a machine with a time study to calculate productivity, as well as a worker and machine map to describe the relationship between worker and machine working time. Based on the results of research with a sieving machine, the work cycle of the OES compound sieving process increased by 18 work cycles. Likewise with the working time relationship between workers and machines, which was originally 100% : 0%, to 49% : 51%.
