PENINGKATAN PRODUKTIVITAS PROSES ASSEMBLY DUCT DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SYSTEMATIC LAYOUT PLANNING DI PT SAYA

Abstrak

The need for vehicles makes companies that engaged in the automotive components manufacture required to innovate so that it can meet consumer demand. PT SAYA is a company engaged in the automotive component industry and one of the products is duct, which is a component that will be assembled with headliner. To maintain consumer confidence, PT SAYA always makes continuous improvements that target high productivity so that consumer demands can be met. The objective of this research is to improve the productivity in assembly duct line in PT SAYA. The observation showed that current productivity was about 9,52 pcs/M.H. Productivity improvement can be reached by layout modification with the systematic layout planning method. After improvement, the productivity value becomes 11,38%.
