ANALISA HASIL MODIFIKASI ALAT TRANSFERRING GREEN TIRE PADA MESIN VTT-4 DI PLANT A MENGGUNAKAN PAYBACK PERIOD

Abstrak

1. ABC is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in the industry that makes tires as one of its main products. PT. ABC has several plants, one of which is plants A which produces bias tires for trucks &buses. After observation for several days, the researchers found condition that the transferring process (thrower) could not operate without operator assistance to assist machine operations. The purpose of this research was to make modifications to reduce the operational costs of the VTT-4 machine. The payback period method is also used in this study to determine the length of time the payback period is modified. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that the modification of the transferring green tire decrease in operational costs occurs by Rp 3.094.196 and based on analysis using payback period, investment capital will return in four months.
