Keywords:

This research aims to design an e-Surveillance Cut Section website using the unified modeling language (UML) approach in the Research & Development (R&D) department of PT RD. With technological advancements, improving product quality has become crucial for industrial competitiveness. One effort to enhance quality is through control involving continuous verification, maintenance, and inspection.
The main issue is the abnormality of surveillance cut section data that has not been studied, leading to inconsistent patterns and varying trends, which affect tire efficiency and performance. Therefore, this study proposes designing a website application based on Statistical Process Control (SPC) to detect data abnormalities early and provide notifications. The implementation of SPC uses control charts and cause-and-effect diagrams to analyze with the eight Nelson rules and find the root causes of problems.
The research results show the successful design and development of an e-surveillance application using UML modeling to optimize the quality of PT RD's tire products with early identification and timely alerts. A user satisfaction survey was conducted, achieving a feasibility rate of 92%.
