Abstract

One of the product parameters that is routinely controlled is the width of the treatment. The current situation is that the process of measuring the width of the treatment is done manually by two operators in a squatting position which is considered less ergonomic. Based on the things above, a tool for measuring treatment width was made in the Topping Calender Plant D/K PT A machine. This measurement tool will then be designed to display the height of the tool based on an anthropometric approach and analyzed using the REBA method, Stopwatch Time Study, and Paired T-Test. Based on anthropometric data processing, the display height is 151 cm. There is a decrease in the value of posture when measuring the width of the treatment from 7 to 3. The standard time of the manual process is 35,025 seconds per one measurement. After using measurement tools it becomes 10.486 seconds per one measurement. There was a reduction in time of 24.539 seconds per one measurement. The results of the Paired T-Test show that there is a difference in the processing time for measuring the width of the treatment before and after the measurement tool is available.
